Today I stumbled upon some directions for how to make eco friendly beeswax candles so I thought I’d share it with you all! I had heard that some types of candles are just awful for your health and the environment, and after doing some research I was actually appalled that some types of candles are still in production. Paraffin, which is widely used, is a petroleum product. Petroleum is not a renewable resource and causes pollution in its production. Let’s not buy any more of those, okay?

Pure beeswax candles are the healthiest choices for us and for the environment. Beeswax is a sweet and simple renewable fuel that burns long and bright. It is non-toxic so it keeps your home and family safe! Beeswax also has the highest melting point of any other candle wax and therefore provides satisfyingly long burn times.
